As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we extend a warm welcome to today's military service members to join our esteemed group. Our shared experience is rooted in the battlefield, where we have fought to protect and preserve freedom in various corners of the world. From the scorching deserts of the Persian Gulf to the rugged terrain of Korea, Kosovo, and beyond, our bravery and selflessness have made a significant impact in shaping global peace. The war on terrorism has presented new challenges, but our resolve remains unwavering. We have also participated in peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns, demonstrating our commitment to maintaining stability and order in volatile regions. Our common bond is forged in the fire of adversity, where we have stood together against overwhelming odds to emerge victorious. As we welcome new members into our ranks, we honor their courage and sacrifice. We recognize that their service is a testament to the enduring spirit of freedom and democracy. Our elite group is built on the principles of loyalty, duty, and honor, and we are proud to have today's military service members join our fraternity. Together, we have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace. Our collective experience is a rich tapestry of stories, each one a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and courage.
